Asus continues to improve their gaming monitors and now we are getting a brand new gaming monitor capable of a really high refresh rate, very fast response time, and all that on an IPS panel. The VG259QM is the model version of the monitor we are presenting in this post.
The ASUS TUF Gaming VG259QM is offering a 24.5 inch IPS panel with 1ms GTG response time, 280Hz refresh rate capabilities, 1920x1080 Full HD resolution, 400 nits brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, excellent wide viewing angles, Adaptive Sync for NVIDIA G-Sync technology, and it should also be supported by AMD FreeSync whenit gets released and made available for purchase.
This VG259QM gaming monitor also supports ELMB technology that will greatly improve the image quality when you're playing fast-action paced games. This monitor also comes with support for one DisplayPort 1.2 input, and two HDMI 2.0a ports. The color gamut offered by the ASUS VG259QM is set at 72% NTSC.
Another cool thing about the VG259QM is that it also comes with two 2W stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The official release date for this monitor is not known at this time, but it should happen some time in the next few months. For those of you who are always thinking about using various preset picture modes, then you will be glad to know that this monitor comes with ASUS GamePlus, Dynamic Shadow Boost and GameVisual modes that allows you to optimize it for different types of games.
