AOC has unveiled a new ultrawide curved gaming monitor with a VA panel, 144Hz refresh rate and it supports both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies.
There are no details about pricing and availability of this AOC monitor, but we should learn more in the coming weeks. AOC CU34G2X measures 34-inches in diagonal size, the panel type is VA, a 1500R curve, 3440 x 1440 resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio. The refresh rate of the AOC CU34G2X is set at 144Hz when a DisplayPort is used, while the HDMI port only allows 100Hz refresh rate.
The other important specs of the CU34G2X by AOC are as following: 1ms moving-picture-response-time via Motion Blur Reduction technology, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 color depth, 91% DCI-P3 color gamut, 119% sRGB value, 300cd/m2 brightness, and HDR10 input source support.
The connectivity ports found on the AOC CU34G2X model are the two DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0, four USB ports, and one headphone/ audio jack. There are no extra spec details about this model, but we should soon hear more from AOC. We should get this gaming ultrawide gaming monitor worldwide sometime in 2020.
