Philips has just announced a brand new gaming monitor called the Momentum 34M1C5500VA. Below you can find info on all specs and features the monitor will pack at launch.
The new Philips Momentum 34M1C5500VA will sport a 34-inch VA screen, 1500R screen curvature, 21:9 aspect ratio, 3440 x 1440 ultrawide resolution, 110 ppi, 165hz variable refresh rate, 4ms GtG standard response time and 1ms MPRT support, Low Input Lag, 300nits standard brightness levels, 3000:1 typical contrast ratio, 1500R screen curvature, HDR10, Flicker-free, 120% sRGB and 100% NTSC color gamuts, LowBlue Mode, EasyRead, Adaptive sync for both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync.
Philips Momentum 34M1C5500VA ultrawide curved monitor will come with two HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, USB 3.2 Gen 1 input, USB-B upstream., USB-A downstream four ports with two of them offering fast charge support. The HDMI ports will only go up to 100hz, while those that want better VRR values should use the DisplayPort inputs for 165hz gaming.
When it comes to ergonomics the Philips monitor offers height adjustment, and swivel and tilt readjusting certification. The monitor should be released and made available for purchase in the coming weeks.
