Acer Nitro V275U P3 Budget Gaming Monitor is official with 1440p 170hz MiniLED VA screen

Acer has officially announced a brand new gaming monitor that is budget-oriented as it will most probably be priced south of the $300 price tag. If you are in the market for a VA panel capable of "2k" resolution and 170hz variable refresh rate, then you can check out the info below.

The display measures 27 inches and features a VA technology flat panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (1440p). It boasts an impressive 2ms G2G response time, a contrast ratio of 3000:1, and SDR brightness of 600 nits. It offers excellent viewing angles of 178/178 degrees, it provides a wide and immersive visual experience. The screen supports 8-bit color depth and offers a wide color gamut that covers 99% of the Adobe RGB color space. The native refresh rate stands at 165Hz, but it can be overclocked slightly to 170Hz. Additionally, adaptive-sync technology ensures Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) compatibility with both NVIDIA and AMD systems. This monitor is expected to feature both NVIDIA's 'G-sync Compatible' and AMD's 'FreeSync Premium' technologies.

The panel that comes with the Acer Nitro V275U P3 comes with 576 MiniLED backlight zones and a peark brightness that should reach 1000nits when HDR is enabled. The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified and in terms of connectivity it offers 3.5mm headphone jack, DisplayPort 1.2 port, and two HDMI 2.0 ports. The monitor should be launched later this year in Europe and the US and it should be available at a lower price with the price tag not getting over the $300 price tag.
