Dell Alienware AW2524H 1080P FullHD gaming monitor with 500hz VRR is now official

Dell continues to work on building reliable gaming monitors for those who love eSport titles, as they have announced a brand new gaming monitor that is capable of reaching 500hz variable refresh rate.

The new monitor is part of their Alienware gaming lineup, The model version is AW2524H and it will bring tons of cool features to be used in competitive tiles like CS GO, Valorant, Fortnite, CoD Warzone and other similar titles. There is no info on pricing but we hope that Dell will not think about pricing it at $1000.

The Alienware AW2524H will offers a 24.5-inch IPS flat screen, 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 500hz variable refresh rate, eSports-based Legend 2.0 design, smaller stand, Alien FX RGB lights, NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer built-in, G-Sync, AMD FreeSync, 0.5ms GtG minimum response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 99% sRGB wide color gamut, 1.07B colors, excellent wide viewing angles, 400nits brightness, four USB ports, audio out, 3.5mm headphone jack, HDMI 2.0 ports, and a DisplayPort 1.4 input.

The standard refresh rate that comes with the monitor is 480hz, but you can use the built-in overclock function and get the 500hz value. The monitor will offer support for variable refresh rate for both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies. The monitor will most probably be released before the Summer of 2023, and we will post an updated article when Dell confirms its pricing and availability.
