Official Release of LG UltraGear 27GN950, It Offers 4K UltraHD, 144Hz, FreeSync and G-Sync Technologies

The LG UltraGear 27GN950 is officially launched and it should be soon available for purchase everywhere. The monitor is obviously designed for gamers, as it offers support for both AMD and G-Sync Adaptive Sync technologies, 144hz variable refresh rate and very fast response time at a 4K UltraHD resolution.

The LG 27GN950 specifications are the following: 27-inch Nano IPS screen with 4K UltraHD 3840 x 2160 screen resolution, 400 nits standard brightness, VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, 144hz variable refresh rate, 1ms GtG fast response time, NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies, 98% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 1.07B colors, 16:9 aspect ratio, excellent wide viewing angles, 1000:1 contrast ratio, Dynamic Action Sync, Flicker Safe, Reader Mode, Color Calibrated, Smart Energy Saving, Black Stabilizer, Picture-in-Picture(PiP), HDR10 support, LG UltraGear Control Center, Active Dimming, and OnScreen Control software by LG.

The monitor's 144Hz variable refresh rate will work in 4K only if your GPU supports DSC (Display Stream Compression) through its DisplayPort input. The 27GN950 monitor packs the following ports and inputs: two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, one USB up-stream port, two USB down-stream inputs and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It doesn't come with built-in speakers.

The stand that comes with the LG 27GN950 model allows tilt, height, and pivot angle adjustments. If you're a gamer and your computer is capable of over 100 FPS in 4K gaming, then this monitor is a must-have, as it offers IPS panel, very fast refresh rate and excellent picture quality no matter what game you're running. Please note that the monitor also comes with RGB Sphere Lighting 2.0, a technology that will sync the in-game sound and video with the lights on the back of the monitor.

This LG UltraGear 27GN950 is one of the best models ever released by the company, and it should already be available for purchase in the US, Canada, Europe, Asia and other regions. The pricing for this model has been set at $750 or 800EUR.
