ASUS has officially announced a brand new 1440p QHD gaming monitor that's capable of going up to 300hz variable refresh rate. The monitor is using a Fast IPS screen and it should offer great performance, great color quality and really fast response time with the gamer experiencing no ghosting nor in-game bluring.

The monitor boasts a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, along with gaming-specific features like G-sync Compatible certification and the manufacturer's ELMB-sync blur reduction technology. The XG27AQMR builds upon the success of its predecessor, the XG27AQM, by retaining many of the same features and specifications, while offering a native refresh rate of 300Hz - an upgrade from the overclocked 270Hz of the previous model.

The Asus ROG Strix XG27AQMR comes with both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies allowing gamers to experience no screen tearing nor stuttering when gaming.  Here are some other specs: 1ms GtG minimum response time, DisplayHDR600, WQHD resolution, 300hz variable refresh rate, 16:9 aspect ratio, excellent wide viewing angles, HDR10, deltaE <2 color accuracy, DisplayPort 1.4 input, two HDMI 2.0 ports, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB 3.2 gen 1 Type-A ports, and a removable stand that lets users adjust the tilt, swivel, pivot and height positions.

The XG27AQMR by ASUS will be released later this year and we will post an updated article when they will publish more ingo about pricing and availability. Until then you can check the official ASUS website below and find out more about other cool products they will release in the following months.
