The PG279QM Asus ROG Swift gaming monitor might be released before the end of 2021. This monitor is designed with 1440p gaming in mind and along with various NVIDIA built-in features we expect it to be bought by "a few lucky users" who managed to get their hands on a new NVIDIA 30xx series GPU.
The Asus ROG Swift model number PG279QM will offer the following features and specs: 27-inch QuadHD screen, 2560 x 1440 screen resolution, 240hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-Sync technology, NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer, ASUS Fast IPS screen with 1ms GtG minimum response time, VES DisplayHDR400, DCI-P3 97% and 150% sRGB wide color gamuts, 400 nits maximum HDR brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, excellent wide viewing angles as expected on IPS panels. Also, it offers HDR10 support, Trace Free Technology, deltaE<2, GamePlus, Low Blue Light, HDCP 2.2 Support, one DisplayPort 1.4 input, three HDMI 2.0 ports, one 3.5mm headphone jack, two 2W built-in audio speakers, kensington lock and AUra Sync lighting effect.
The monitor's NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer feature should greatly reduce any type of input low between your mouse, pc and screen. The monitor will be released most probably later this year, and we will post new info when extra details will be made known by Asus.
