Dell confirms Alienware AW3423DW with 175hz VRR and OLED ultrawide 1440p screen

Dell has officially confirmed all the specs and features that their brand new AW3423DW ultrawide gaming monitor will offer next month at launch. The monitor will most probably be available worldwide before the end of March with a starting price of $1299.

This new gaming monitor is not cheap, but the design, panel, and all the features Alienware has put into it are definitely worth it and we expect this model to be one of the best gaming monitors to be launched this 2022. Below you can find info on all the specs the monitor will offer at launch.

Dell Alienware AW3423DW gaming monitor will feature a QD OLED cured and ultrawide screen, 1800R screen curvature, 21:9 aspect ratio, 110 pixel-per-inch, excellent wide viewing angles obviously, 1000nits HDR peak brightness, 0.1 GtG minimum response time, 1.07B colors and 10bit color depth, 99.3% DCI-P3 and 149% sRGB wide color gamuts, one DisplayPort 1.4 with HDCP 2.2 input, two HDMI 2.0 ports, one USB 3.2 gen1 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen1 downstream ports, one headphone input, and one audio line-out.

The stand that comes with this monitor offers complete ergonomics as it permits users to adjust its height, tilt, swivel and pivot angles. On the monitor's back there is the oval RGB Alien FX lighting effect. This monitor's Quantum Dot OLED screen also offers a maximum variable refresh rate value of 175hz with NVIDIA G-Sync Ultimate technology certification. NOTE: the monitor should also support AMD FreeSync at launch.

The Alienware AW3423DW on-screen display lets users set their own favorite profile depending on the type of games they will play, as there are five default presets and three other customizable ones. The monitor's screen is Low Blue Light and Flicker-free certified, two technologies that are getting better and better and helping gamers be more comfortable playing for multiple hours continuously.

This monitor will be released worldwide next month and its pricing will be set at $1299. We will post an updated article when the Alienware AW3423DW will become available for purchase.
