LG Will Launch the UltraGear 38GL950G Curved Gaming Monitor Before the End of 2019

LG will launch a new curved gaming monitor with a Nano IPS panel that is capable of a 1ms GTG response time and 175Hz overclocked refresh rate.

LG has announced that they are going to launch this monitor later this month and it will first go live in South Korea. The screen resolution of the LG 38GL950G is WQHD 3840 x 1600 with an aspect ratio of 21:9. This model offers a pretty nice design, as it comes with very thin bezels, that should offer a modern look to your desk setup.

The LG 38" UltraGear GL950G gaming monitor is curved and it offers complete support for variable refresh rate that can go up to 175Hz when overclocked. The Nano IPS panel has a color space value that goes up to 98% DCI-P3 and it offers great image quality and fantastic colors with great wide viewing angles. The monitor comes with Nvidia G-Sync support that will reduce screen tearing, stutters and lowers input lag.

LG 38GL950G supports the VESA DisplayHDR 400, a technology that means you will get accurate colors and better contrast ratio than standard monitors. The design used for this monitor offers Sphere Lightning 2.0, a technology that syncs the back-lighting with the video and audio content shown on the monitor's screen. Also, the monitor's stand offers tilt, pivot and height adjustments.

The LG 38" GL950G offers the following connectivity ports: 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort, 3x USB ports and one 3.5mm headphone jack. Here are all the cool features you will get from this curved gaming monitor: Nvidia G-Sync, Dynamic Action Sync, Flicker Safe, Color Calibrated, Nano IPS panel, variable backlight, lighting mode, fps counter, black stabilizer, crosshair support, reader mode, wide color gamut, sphere lighting, lighting option and VESA Adaptive-Sync support. For those of you that are looking to wall-mount it, then you should know that the LG GL950G unit comes with VESA 100x100 wall mount capabilities.Xiaomi Mi TV 4S (2019)
