MSI continues to announce new gaming monitors designed for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The new monitor will be offering HDMI 2.1 connectivity which lets console gamers enjoy their favorite titles at 4K resolutions with 120hz refresh rate.
The monitor's maximum refresh rate goes up to 144hz, a refresh rate value that is only supported by PC. The panel on this monitor offers 4K UltraHD resolution, 1ms GtG minimum response time, and a screen size measuring 32 inches. The quality on this IPS screen is excellent and you will also be getting very fast response time along with variable refresh rate support. The official website doesn't list support for either NVIDIA G-Sync nor AMD FreeSync technologies, but both should be officially available when the monitor gets released.
MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD is a gaming monitor but it also comes with KVM 3.0 support which lets users to connect multiple systems at the same pair of keyboards and mouse. The KVM 3.0 technology also lets you transfer files between such systems. The monitor will most probably offer 144hz refresh rate support via DisplayPort 1.4 input, while the 4K@120hz resolution will be supported by the PS5/ Xbox Series X through the monitor's Console Mode option.
The monitor should be released at the end of this year. We will post an updated article when new details about specs, features and functions are made available by MSI. Also, note that there are no news on availability or pricing.
