The LG 34GN850 is built on the success of the older 34GK950F model, and today we got info on its specifications and built-in features. The monitor will be launched some time this year, at a date that remains TBA.
The LG 34GN850 is an UltraWide Curved Nano IPS panel measuring 34 inches diagonally, it offers 3440 x 1440 screen resolution, 144hz native refresh rate, 160Hz overclockable refresh rate, AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies support for adaptive Sync, 1ms GTG response time, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified, 1000;1 contrast ratio, excellent wide viewing angles, 98% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and virtually borderless design. The aspect ratio used by this monitor is set at 21:9. The monitor comes with HDR10, Flicker-free, Reader Mode, Dynamic Action Sync, Smart EnergySaving, Crosshair, and Black Stabilizer.
NOTE: the HDMI port will only offer support for 85Hz variable refresh rate at a resolution of 3440 x 1440. The DisplayPort offers 144Hz and 160hz overclock refresh rate support. This monitor will be launched later this year.
