Acer XB273 U Should Be Released Soon, It Comes with 27-inch IPS Display and 165Hz Refresh Rate

The Acer XB273 U has been already been seen on Taobao, and this means that it should soon be ready for a worldwide release, and we can't wait to get our hands on it. It brings a WQHD resolution, very low response time and a 165Hz refresh rate which makes it great for gaming.

The XB273 U 27" gaming monitor offers variable refresh rates up to 165Hz for both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD Freesync technologies, a maximum screen resolution of 2560 x 1440, over 90& DCI-P3 color gamut, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 nits brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, and 8-bit color depth. The minimum response time has a value of 1ms MPRT, but as you know this isn't the real response time of a gaming monitor. MPRT refers to the level of blur users can perceive, while the true response time of a monitor is done via "gray-to-gray" scale and the Acer XB273 U should have somewhere around 4ms G2G.

The new XB273 U 27" IPS flat monitor by Acer comes with DisplayPort, HDMI ports and 4x USB 3.0 ports. There are no extra details about this monitor, nor about its pricing and availability. Currently you can find it on Taobao, and we should soon get some form of confirmation from Acer about its worldwide availability and pricing.

When it comes to design the Acer XB273 U comes in a black frame that doesn't seem to be too thin. The OSD controls on this model are placed on the right-hand side of the monitor, and in terms of movement it comes with support for height, swivel, tilt, and pivot adjustments Since this model comes with native support for both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technology, then you can easily add it to your wishlist as it will support your gaming hardware no matter the GPU model you own, as long as the GPU comes also with support for G-Sync/ Freesync technologies.
