MSI Presents G241V Gaming Monitor, IPS Panel, 75hz Refresh Rate and FreeSync-compatible

MSI has officially confirmed the Optix G241V monitor that is marketed as an e-Sports gaming model. The monitor will be released most probably at the end of this year, and we will return with a post when that happens.

The MSI Optix G241V comes with a 23.8-inch IPS panel, 1920 x 1080 Full HD screen resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 75hz variable refresh rate, AMD FreeSync technology support, 250nits brightness, excellent wide viewing angles, 4ms GtG fast response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16.7M colors, 82% DCI-P3 and 102% sRGB wide color gamuts, one DisplayPort 1.2a input, one HDMI 1.4 input, 3.5mm headphone jack, and VESA 100x100 support.  The stand that comes with this MSI G241V monitor only offers tilt adjustment, and if you're looking for better ergonomics then you will have to look a different model or buy a desk mount.

Both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs will support up to 75Hz variable fresh rate, and if you're looking for a budget monitor to connect with a PC that is capable of 75FPS, then the Optix G241V model might prove to be an excellent choice for 2020.

This MSI G241V gaming monitor also features Anti-Flicker, Lesss Blue Light and Night Vision functions, so that you will get no eye fatigue while gaming for longer periods of time. The design is pretty simple, it is black all around and it uses a frameless panel design. We will return with an updated post when MSI lists the availability, release date, and pricing info.
