LG announces new UltraGear NanoIPS 32-inch screen with 180hz refresh rate and 1440p QHD resolution

LG is bringing a brand new UltraGear gaming monitor designed for 1440p gaming and high refresh rates that will support adaptive sync for any type of video card. The new monitor's model version is set at 32GP850 and it is already available for purchase in various regions.

The LG 32GP850 is the newest gaming monitor from the South Korean giant and if you're looking to get one of the best possible IPS screens out there, then this model should at least make you take a look at its specs. It packs all the great functions and features that a gaming monitor should have in 2021, as it brings a huge screen, great image quality, fast response time, refresh rate overclock support, HDR10 support, Adaptive Sync, and it is color calibrated right out of the box.

Here are some of the specs that the LG UltraGear 32GP850 features:

  • 31.5 inch Nano IPS panel.
  • 2560 x 1440 resolution.
  • 16:9 aspect ratio.
  • 1ms GtG minimum response time.
  • 165hz native refresh rate and 180hz overclockable refresh rate.
  • HDR10 and HDR effect functions.
  • 98% DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
  • 1000:1 contrast ratio which is the standard for IPS screens.
  • Flicker-safe, Reader Mode, Black Stabilizer, Dynamic Action Sync, Color Calibrated, Nano IPS technology, Smart Energy Saving support, Crosshair, On Screen control and more.
  • two HDMI ports that will go up to 144hz maximum refresh rate.
  • one DisplayPort 1.4 input that offers 165hz native VRR and 180hz overclockable VRR.
  • AMD Freesync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync support.
  • headphone out port, 2x USB Downstrean ports, 1x USB Upstream port.
  • pivot, height, and tilt angle adjusments are supported by the monitor's stand.
  • VESA 100x100 wall mount.
  • 350nits standard brightness value.

There are tons of cool things about the features that the LG 32GP850 offers, as the Dynamic Action Sync that will greatly reduce the input lag, and the Black Stabilizer function that will greatly improve visibility in darker areas. The fact that the monitor offers support for both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies will make it an attractive unit to pair with any type of GPU a user has installed in his computer.

The pricing  for this unit isn't officially known at this moment, but we think that it will be set somewhere over $700. We will update this post accordingly when the monitor appear as available for purchase on Amazon's website.
