AOC Announces Two Brand New 144Hz QHD Gaming Monitors, Both Available for Purchase Soon

AOC is releasing two new gaming monitors, both with a diagonal size of 27 inches and a variable refresh rate of 144Hz. The Flat Q27G2U model will be available later this month, while the curved  CQ27G2U one will be released at the end of February.

The AOC  Q27G2U flat gaming monitor is offering 144Hz refresh rate, a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440, VA panel, 1ms MPRT response time, adaptive-sync support for both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies. The static contrast ratio on the flat model is set at 3000:1, and the color gamut covers 90% AdobeRGB and 120% sRGB. Also, the monitor offers good wide viewing angles, 250 nits brightness, and 8-bit color depth.

The Curved AOC CQ27G2U packs the same features as the flat model, only that it offers a curved VA panel with a curvature radius of 1500R. Here are some other features that both these monitors are sharing: built-in USB 3.0 hub with one port supporting quick charging, two 2W audio speakers, 1x DisplayPort 1.2, audio input and headphone jack support. The Curved model also offers two HDMI 2.0 ports, while the flat model only features 2x HDMI 1.4 ports for no particular reason.

The best thing about these models is the fact that they are offering variable refresh rate support for both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies, so that you won't be experiencing any screen tearing nor stuttering when playing your favorite titles.

Currently both models are available only on Amazon.de, which is why the Amazon links might not work for everyone. Soon both of them will be available worldwide for a price that shouldn't go over $400 for each model.
