Samsung adds three new gaming monitors to the Odyssey lineup, Release date set for June 2021

Samsung continues to add new gaming monitors to their Odyssey gaming lineup, and today we will talk about the Odyssey G7 28”, Odyssey G5 27”, and Odyssey G3 27” and 24” models. All three monitors will be released this month.

The Samsung Odyssey G7 28" monitor uses the G70A version, and it offers 4K UHD resolution, 28-inch IPS flat screen, 400nits brightness, 16:9 aspect ratio, 1ms response time, excellent wide viewing angles, 144hz refresh rate, DisplayHDR400, 90% color gamut, Eco Saving Plus, Eye Saver Mode, Flicker-free, AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync, Black Equalizer, Low Input Lag Mode, Refresh Rate Optimizor, Custom key, Super Arena Gaming UX, Auto Source Switch+, Ultrawide Game View, one DisplayPort 1.4 input, two HDMI 2.1 ports, USB 3.0 hub, 3.5mm headphone jack.

The stand that comes with the Samsung Odyssey G7 allows users to adjust the tilt, swivel, pivot and height positions. The monitor is also VESA 100x100 compatible. This model supports 144hz refresh rate when connected with a computer, while the HDMI 2.1 connectivity will let Xbox Series X|S and PS5 users enjoy 4K resolutions at 120hz.

The second monitor announced by Samsung is called Odyssey G5 27” G50A. This models is offering flat IPS screen measuring 27 inches, 2560 x 1440 resolution, 350 standard brightness levels, excellent wide viewing angles, HDR10, 1ms GtG response time, 165hz maximum refresh rate, 99% sRGB color coverage, NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium technologies support. The monitor also sports one DisplayPort 1.2 and one HDMI 2.0 port. The stand that comes with it is bringing complete ergonomics allowing users to adjust the screen's height, tilt, swivel, and pivot angles.

The last two models, Odyssey G3 27” and 24” versions, are packing almost the same specifications. Both models are offering 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1ms response time, 144hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync support, Eye Saver Mode, Flicker-Free, Refresh Rate Optimizer, Black Equalizer, DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 ports. The Odyssey G3 stand offers support for adjusting pivot, swivel, tilt and height angles easily.

All monitors above are VESA 100x100 compatible. All will be launched this June. We have no info on pricing and worldwide availability. We expect more news in the following days.
