Samsung's new Odyssey G9 C49G95T ultrawide monitor is now official and it will most probably be the most beautiful model launched this 2020. The monitor is already available for purchase in the UK for a little under £1300.
Samsung C49G95T, or Odyssey G9, is offering a whooping 49-inch curved ultrawide VA display, 5120 x 1440 maximum screen resolution, 32:9 aspect ratio, 240hz variable refresh rate for both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies. With all these goodies, the Odyssey G9 is most probably the most interesting ultrawide gaming monitor as you can pair it with any powerful computer and it will provide excellent performance in any type of video game you love to play.
The panel on this monitor uses QLED technology and it offers 1000R curvature radius, so that gamers will experience excellent wide viewing angles at all times. The monitor's design is most probably the best we've seen this year, as it offers a white back case and stand along with a blue orb of light emitting from the middle of its case. The back of the Odyssey G9 resembles the looks of a spaceship you've seen in futuristic movies and video games.
This ultrawide monitor comes with these other features: 95% DCI-P3, 92% Adobe RGB, and 125% sRGB wide color gamuts, VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, 1000 nits maximum brightness, 10-bit color depth, 2500:1 contrast ratio, and a 2ms response time. It obviously packs Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture(PbP) multitasking functions, and it features two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, two USB 3.0 ports, one 3.5mm headphone hack and one HDMI 2.0 port.
This Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor is now available for purchase from OverclockersUK for £1,279.99.
