NVIDIA Finally Adds G-Sync Support for Dell AW2720HF, and 6 Other Gaming Monitors

The NVIDIA new GPU drivers are bringing G-Sync variable refresh rate support for seven new gaming monitors and their users. The new update is done via download, so all you NVIDIA GPU users should hit the "look for updates" button and get the latest build available.

The Nvidia developers have said that the new Game Ready drivers will sport a brand new "ultra-low latency mode" and G-Sync support for new gaming monitors. The new Ultra-Low Latency mode previously didn't come with support for G-Sync when it was enabled, but it seems like Nvidia has managed to fix this and now you can enjoy all these features at the same time. Also, the Low Latency Mode will now be replacing the "maximum pre-rendered frames" option from the Nvidia Control Panel.

The new monitors that are now getting support for NVIDIA's G-Sync technology are as following: Acer CG437K P, Acer VG272U P, Acer VG272X, AOC 27G2G4, Asus XG279Q, Dell AW2720HF, Lenovo Y27Q-20. All these models are also coming with support for AMD's Freesync out-of-the-box, which means that you are future proof no matter which one you decide to buy. Please note that in order to get G-Sync support for one of these monitors, then you will first have to download the latest GPU drivers. You can initiate the download using the GeForce Experience app on your computer and going to the Drivers tab to look for new updates.

Nvidia continues their work on improving and adding G-Sync variable refresh rate support for as many gaming monitors as possible. If your monitor is not that old and it hasn't received G-Sync support yet, then you can start dreaming on getting the feature in the future. If you've found this post by mistake, but you are still interested in knowing if your gaming monitor supports G-Sync technology, then you should be checking Nvidia's post here, as it contains the complete list of G-Sync supported models.

Nvidia's update that brings G-Sync support for various monitors also comes with support for numerous newly released games like: FIFA 20, Borderlands 3, Greedfall, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Remnant: From the Ashes, UBOAT, Hunt Showdown, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Deliver Us The Moon, Children of Morta, Silver Chains, Gears 5, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, GRID, Code Vein, Cube World, ONINAKI,  Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, SCP: Secret Laboratory, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, Control,  Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, Chernobylite, eFootball PES 2020, Age of Wonders: Planetfall, Planetside Arena, Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered, Madden NFL 20, The Surge 2, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, The Isle and Blair Witch. Also, Nvidia recommends you using the Optimize button under the GeForce Experience>Games tab in order to get the best settings for all these games.
