Iiyama presents the G-Master G2466HSU and GB3266QSU curved gaming monitors

IIyama continues to work on their curved gaming monitor series and last week they announced the launch of the G-Master Red Eagle G2466HSU and GB3266QSU curved gaming monitors with VA LED panels, 1ms (MPRT) response time, and AMD FreeSync Premium technology support.

Both monitors will be made available for purchase in 2021 and we're still waiting on the monitor's release date and pricing to be confirmed. Below you can find info on all the specs and features that both of these curved gaming monitors are packing.

Iiyama G-Master Red Eagle G2466HSU main specs and features:

  • 23.6-inch VA LED curved screen.
  • 1500R screen curvature.
  • 1920 x 1080 Full HD maximum screen resolution.
  • 165hz variable refresh rate.
  • AMD FreeSync Premium technology.
  • 16:9 aspect ratio.
  • 250nits standard brightness levels.
  • 3000:1 contrast ratio.
  • 1ms MPRT response time.
  • two HDMI ports.
  • one DisplayPort input.
  • two USB 2.0 ports.
  • HDCP support.
  • 3.5mm headphone jack.
  • flicker-free, blue light filter, HDR ready.
  • two 2W built-in audio speakers.
  • limited ergonomics as it only permits the adjusting of the monitor's tilt angle.
  • VESA 100x100 desk mount support.

It seems like the lower model offers a faster refresh rate and a smaller resolution, which should be an excellent budget-friendly unit. The bigger model info is listed below and it comes with a 1440p QHD resolution, lower refresh rate and a bigger screen curvature.

Iiyama G-Master Red Eagle GB3266QSU 32" main specs and features:

  • 31.5-inch VA LED curved panel.
  • 1800R screen curvature.
  • 2560 x 1440 QHD maximum screen curvature.
  • 16:9 aspect ratio.
  • 400 nits maximum screen resolution.
  • 3000:1 contrast ratio.
  • 1ms MPRT response time.
  • 144hz variable refresh rate.
  • AMD FreeSync Premium.
  • two HDMI ports.
  • only the HDMI 2 port offers 144hz refresh rate, while the HDMI1 port only supports 75hz refresh rate.
  • two DisplayPort inputs, both with 144hz refresh rate suport.
  • two USB 3.0 ports, and two USB 2.0 inputs.
  • 3.5mm headphone jack.
  • HDR Ready.
  • Flicker-free and Blue light filter.
  • two 5W built-in audio speakers.
  • support for adjusting its tilt, swivel and height positions.
  • VESA 100x100 desk mount support.

As you can see the bigger 32-inch Iiyama gaming monitor offers better ergonomics and a higher resolution, which should make it much more desirable for potential buyers. Both models are going to be launched in 2021, but this remains to be announced, as well as any info about its availability or pricing.
