A new Alienware gaming monitor is in works, as Dell has announced a new 24.5 inch IPS model that should be released later this year. The monitor comes with all the required features to make it a more than decent competitive gaming monitor, and you will learn more about it by reading the info below.

The Alienware 25 AW2521HF is coming with an 1ms GtG true response time, 240hz variable refresh rate with support for both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies, 99% sRGB IPS Panel, 24.5 inches diagonal size, 1920 x 1080 FullHD resolution, Alienware Legend Industrial design, optimized ventilation system with vents on its top, bottom and rear sides, AlienFX lighting system with customization support, Dynamic OSD with multiple features, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400nits brightness, great wide viewing angles, and tons of  other small functions that are making it a desirable monitor for any type of competitive gamer.

This Alienware AW2521HF gaming monitor comes with both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync features, and support for 240Hz variable refresh rate, so that there won't be any screen tearing or stuttering noticeable during gaming sessions. The monitor offers support for HDMI and DisplayPort connections, and it also comes with USB 3.0 ports with power charging capabilities. The monitor's stand is great, sturdy and cool looking, and it also allows you to change its tilt, swivel, pivot and height for better comfort. The monitor is VESA 100X100 wall mountable.

There is no official word on the exact launch date, but we're expecting it to launch later this month. The pricing for this model appears to be set at $500, which is quite high, but if you can afford it the monitor's specs are great and it should provide great performance in fast action games.
