BenQ is getting ready to launch a new monitor that is destined for those that are working with image and color editing. This new model measures 32 inches in diagonal size, and it has the version number set at SW321C. It is part of BenQ's Studio monitors line-up and it will be released soon worldwide.
The BenQ SW321C is built to be used by professional image editors and graphic designers. It comes with 3840 x 2160 UltraHD 4K resolution on an IPS panel with a 76Hz refresh rate. It comes with "Paper Color Sync Technology in order to Simulate Photo Print Effect on Screen", and Uniformity Technology for widescreen color accuracy. The Adobe RGB Color Space value for this model is set at 99%.
The SW321C by BenQ features AQCOLOR technology that guarantees accurate reproduction of all colors in order to display accurate and consistent colors at all times. If you're a photographer or graphic designer then this model should be one that you should consider in case you're part of one of the aforementioned working categories. This model also has a LUT 16bit color precision that greatly improves the RGB accuracy for impeccable image quality. The BenQ Uniformity technology comes with precise color all over the screen no matter the work you're doing.
Another thing that BenQ advertises when it comes to their new SW321C is that it comes with built-in and professionally factory calibrated color color performance, so that you won't need to tinker with any monitor settings. Of course, if your work doesn't look that good on various screen modes, then you can choose from a wide selection of settings and adjust the screen to your type of work. The BenQ SW321C also comes with support for HDR10 and HLG image and video formats, that you can preview while doing any editing tasks. For those of you who will surely need to calibrate the display further, then you should know that this model comes with full support for CalMAN and LightSpace video calibration software.
The color modes supported by SW321C by BenQ are as following: Adobe RGB, sRGB, DCI-P3, M-book, Calibration 1-2-3, Paper Color Sync, Rec.709, Display P3, DICOM and Custom. BenQ SW321C comes with the following connectivity ports: 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x DisplayPort, 2x Downstream USB, and 1x Upstream, USB Type-C (PD60W, DP Alt mode, Data), and SD/MMC card reader support for SD/SDHC/ SDXC/ MMC types.
