The ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q is one of the most popular 240Hz competitive gaming monitor. The price for a unit has dropped to $479.99 and for the rest of the month (April 2020).

This monitor is highly regarded by those that are playing fast-action video games as it comes with a 24.5-inch Full HD TN panel, 1ms response time, 1920 x 1080 maximum screen resolution, NVIDIA G-Sync technology for Adaptive Sync compatibility, 400 nits brightness, 16.7M colors, 170°/160° wide viewing angles, Trace Free technology, 4 modes Color Temperature selection, GamePlus modes, Low Blue Light, GameVisual modes, 5-way OSD navigation joystick, and ASUS Eye Care technology that should greatly reduce the strain on your eyes when gaming for long sessions.

The PG258Q ASUS ROG Swift monitor design follows ASUS' premium guidelines, as it comes with frameless bezels on three of its sides, a Smart Air Vent, LED logo on its base, and support for adjusting the height, tilt, swivel, and pivot positions. Please note that the monitor will be available at the reduced price only for a limited time.

The PG258Q model is only supporting the NVIDIA G-Sync technology, while the ROG Strix XG258Q is the one with AMD FreeSync capabilities. Also, the 240Hz refresh rate is available through the DisplayPort input, as the HDMI port only goes up to 60Hz. The monitor will be shipped with both DisplayPort and HDMI inputs, so you don't have to worry about getting a different cable after it arrives at your door.
