ASUS Announces Official Specifications For Curved ROG Strix XG43VQ Gaming Monitor

The ROG Strix XG43VQ is a curved gaming monitor by Asus that will soon be released worldwide it has finally had its official specifications released. This is an ultrawide monitor that offers FreeSync 2, and a maximum screen resolution of 3840x1200 with 120Hz refresh rate.

The Asus ROG Strix XH43VQ offers a super ultra-wide screen measuring 43 inches in diagonal size, 3840 x 1200 screen resolution with an aspect ratio of 32:10. The variable refresh rate technology used by this model is FreeSync 2 HDR that should offer smooth gameplay, low latency and greatly improved brightness and contrast quality. Another cool thing about this model is that it comes with multiple HDR modes that you can use for content creation, gaming, and video entertainment.

The monitor is VESA Certified DisplayHDR 400 and it also offers DCI-P3 90% color gamut. The screen curvature of this model measures 1800R and the aspect ratio used by this is 32:10, which measures exactly as two 16:10 monitors placed side by side without the gap and bezels. Being a super ultra-wide monitor you will get picture-by-picture hotkeys that you can use in order to display different screens and increase your productivity.

Asus ROG Strix XH43VQ offers Shadow Boost technology that will enhance dark areas without overexposing the brighter areas, a cool feature that will make it easier to spot enemies. This monitor also comes with different crosshair icons, a timer to keep track of the gaming session length, fps counter and display alignment.
