ASUS continues to work on newer and better gaming monitor models, and today we got info on their new 2021 lineup. The monitors are going to be released this year and they should be available for purchase most probably before June 2021.

The new monitor model versions are: TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A, ROG Swift PG279QM and the ROG Strix XG43UQ. All these have been announced last week at CES 2021 and they are built for all types of buyers.

The first model we will talk about is the ASUS ROG Swift PG279QM. The ASUS TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A will sports a 4K UltraHD 3840 x 2160 resolution, 144hz variable refresh rate, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, HDR, ELMB Sync, Variable Overdrive that should offer faster response times, thin-bezels, headphone jack, USB ports, GamePlus, GameVisual and other software functions that should be detailed at a later date.

The final monitor model that we will present here is the ASUS ROG Strix XG43UQ. This monitor offers a 43.4-inch IPS screen, 3840 x 2160 4K resolution, DSC support, 144hz refresh rate, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, VESA DisplayHDR 1000, ELMB Sync, DCI-P3 90% wide color gamut.

The PG279QM and the XG43UQ monitors are both 4K and are offering HDMI 2.1 connectivity which is designed to support 4K gaming at 120hz for the new PS5 and XBox Series X gaming consoles. If you're planning on getting any of the new console models, then you should keep in mind that these two ASUS monitors will be released some time this year, with Q2 2021 listed as a release date everywhere.
