AOC Presents AGON AG273QX eSports Gaming Monitor, It Features 165Hz Refresh Rate, FreeSync 2 HDR and 4ms Real Response Time

AOC continues to work on new gaming monitor and now we're getting the first details on their new QHD eSports ready model, the AGON AG273QX with 165Hz and 4ms response time, and 1ms MPRT support, too. Check the info below if you want to learn more about AOC's new product.

The AGON AG273QX by AOC offers a 27" VA panel and a QHD 2560x1440 resolution with support for Freesync and Freesync 2 HDR compatibility. The variable refresh rate value is set at 165Hz while its minimum response time is advertised as 1ms MPRT, but the standard and more realistic response time this model feature sits at 4ms. The AMD FreeSync2 HDR greatly improves over the standard FreeSync technology as it syncs better the framerates of both the GPU and the screen in order to greatly reduce input lag and offering smooth tear-free gaming sessions.

The AOC AGON AG278QX offers a beautiful design with frameless bezels with a flat screen.  The display comes with HDR 400, FlickerFree, 400 brightness, 16:9 aspect ratio, wide viewing angle, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 0.2331 pixel pitch, 16.7 million colors, 3H hard glass coating, and 16 different OSD languages. The design also features AOC Game Lights and a Game Pad.

The AG273QX monitor features one VGA port, one DisplayPort 1.2, one HDMI 2.0, four USB 3.0 slots, a 3.5mm heaphone jack. Also, the monitor comes with 2 two 5W built-in audio speakers. If you purchase this gaming monitor then you will get the following things along with it: one HDMI cable, one VGA cable, one DVI cable, one Displayport cable, and one Audio cable. If you want to wall mount it, then you should know that it comes with VESA 75x75 support -it weighs around 18 lbs, or 8.15kg if you're in EU. This model will be launched in November worldwide and it should sport a price that's somewhere around $500.

If you're not so keen on getting a flat gaming monitor, and you're one that usually likes to game on a curved model, then you can also choose to purchase the curved AG273QCX variant instead.
