The Acer XV272U X is a brand new gaming monitor that is designed towards competitive video games as it offers very fast variable refresh rates with Adaptive Sync supported at QHD resolution.

The XV272U X monitor model continues the work done on Acer's previous XV272U Pbmiiiprzx QHD monitor launched in 2018. Now the new Acer XV272U X is offering the following specs and features: 2560 x 1440 QHD screen resolution, 27-inch AHVA panel, 240hz refresh rate, 1ms GtG response time, excellent wide viewing angles, 8-bit panel, 99% Adobe RGB wide color gamut, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits brightness, AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies support, ComfyView technology, Anti-flickering, VESA HDR400 vertification, and a stand with full ergonomics.

The stand that comes with the XV272U X allows you to change its tilt, pivot, swivel and height positions. If you don't want to keep the stand, then you should know that the monitor is VESA 100x100 wall mountable. Another cool thing about this monitor is that it offers two integrated 2W audio speakers. In terms of connectivity you will find USB Type-C port, one DisplayPort 1.2 input, two HDMI 2.0 ports, four USB 3.0 Type-A inputs, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The official release date for the Acer XV272XU monitor is not known at this time, but it should happen at the end of this year.

UPDATE: the monitor is listed now on Taobao with its earliest release date set for August 2020, and a pricing of ¥5499.00 ($770). Most probably the monitor will be available worldwide sometime after August passes by.
