Acer has announced a brand new 4K gaming monitor that measures no less than 43 inches, and it comes with 120Hz native refresh rate that can be overclocked to 144Hz. It comes with variable refresh rate syncing support for both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies.

The Predator CG437K P is the model version number used for this new gaming monitor. It is a device that has been designed with console gaming in mind, as it looks more like a TV than a gaming monitor. The diagonal size measures 43 inches, and the panel is 4K UltraHD VA. The maximum resolution for this gaming monitor is 3840 x 2160 and it offers 1ms MPRT response time, 4ms GTG response time, and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. Acer has stated that the monitor comes with DisplayHDR 1000 VESA certification.

The refresh rate value that this monitor comes with is set at 120Hz, and you will need to enable the overclock function manually. The variable refresh rate for this model is available through both HDMI and DisplayPort connectors, so you will be able to enjoy FreeSync technology without any issues.

The design used for the Acer Predator CG437K P makes it look more like a TV than a gaming monitor due to its large metal stand and the not-so-thin bezels. If you get this monitor and you want it to look more like a gaming machine then you should that you can attach four RGB LED light strips on its back, and the RGB Light Sense software can sync all the lights with your games. Also, if you don't like the design Acer picked for the stand, then you can easily wall-mount it as the Predator CG437K supports it.

This monitor also comes with two 10W speakers, a remote control and USB Type-C support that you can use to recharge your phone and other devices supporting USB-C technology. Additionally, it also sports 3x HDMI ports, 2x DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, 2x USB 3.0 ports, and 2x USB 2.0 inputs.

The Acer Predator CG437K P gaming monitor is available in the United States and it can be purchased starting from $1500.
